Recovery Ranch
One of our dreams is to help us build and fund a Recovery Ranch that rescues horses and shelter animals. We will run a 12-step recovery program where hope flourishes and those who participate in their own recovery will live and work on the ranch. Donate land, a ranch property, funds, and your expertise. You can be Jewish but are a drug addict or alcoholic. We want to help you recover your better self and life, while helping you work a program of recovery, hope, and good health.
Recovering & Addiction
Our recovery ranch will allow people to work a program of recovery together on a daily basis while working on a ranch. 3 - 5 meetings a day will take place. Participating in your own recovery is a must. At the same time we will be rescuing horses and shelter animals from the cruel public Round Ups and Kill Shelters. Learning to care for other sentient beings and each other is the first step towards your recovery.
Cruel Round Ups by the BLM
The Bureau of Land Management has been cruelly rounding up and breaking apart horse families for the expansion and profits of private slaughter corporate owners. The Round Ups are unnecessary and their fabrications are intolerable. Never the less, BRJF will be rescuing some of the horses rounded up and bringing them to their forever homes on Recovery Ranch.
